As the semester rapidly comes to an end. I have learned a lot about blogging and especially photography. One of my goals that I had set early on was to go and take photos just about every week. Whether it is taking photos here in Marshall or back home in Shreveport, I am always looking for better locations to further my experience in the one thing that I love doing the most. If you have not noticed already, I only have pictures of my car posted to the blog and on my socials and there is a good reason behind that.
Automotive photography/photography in general is a tight niche in my opinion. If you want to build a client base for something that you love doing then you have to start from the bottom and work your way up which is what I plan to continue to do. With someone that has just recently started their photography journey several months ago, I have been building on a portfolio for quite some time now. Which is something that I do not mind doing at all. I know that it is going to take me a while to get any form of official business off the ground but everything has to start somewhere so why not make this the start of something that will continue to grow as time progresses. That has been one of the things that I have started to love about photography is that you can do what you want without having clients or others breathing down your neck wanting something specific. Granted, when I get to the point where I start doing work with clients a situation like this may come up but I think I will prepare with my experience and what I will continue to do.
